Health care advocate Bernadine Healy Loop dies at 67

Dr. Bernadine Healy Loop, a noted health-care industry advocate and one-time head of Ohio State University?s College of Medicine and Public Health, has died at the age of 67. Turfway Park reinstates Kentucky Cup Day

Turfway Park race track in Florence has reinstated its Kentucky Cup Day of stakes races for its fall meet after a one-year absence. The races were dropped last year because the $400,000 prize money would have cut into the funds available for regular races.
