Kentucky?s jobless rate drops to 9.5%
Kentucky?s unemployment rate fell to 9.5 percent last month from 9.6 percent in June, the state?s Office of Employment and Training reported Friday.
The latest rate is down from 10.2 percent in July 2010, the office, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, said in a news release.
Last month?s rate is the lowest since January 2009, when the jobless rate stood at 9.2 percent.
